My daddy has always said a pen and paper is mightier than a sword. I think it’s obscured the way some people judge and define black people by the color of their skin. “Black businesses” What’s a black business? Is it a black business because it’s ran by black people or because its own by a black person. Why are we defining these people by the color of their skin? Personally, I judge people by class.  So many people, mostly in my opinion who have lived in the same state/city all their life seem to think that because the company is rude and the people are black that means it’s black companies that we should stop supporting. Not to mention your opinion is only based on probably 1/50 of the number of state that house black people. What about just saying the name of the place like KFC HAS HORRIBLE WORKERS ON KIRBY WHITTEN I’M NOT GOING THERE. Why would you say I’m not supporting black companies? It’s crazy that a color could define a person. No one would ever classify Osaka as Japanese ran business, and say "I don’t support Japanese restaurant" , or "I try to support Japanese restaurants." I also never heard anyone say white companies either. It seems to me that some people don’t have respect for themselves and that is why they are okay with defining a place by the color of the people working there. Far to go, I’m just thankful that some of us will never see color but people. People died so we could be Markeisha, Devon and etc not so we could still just be seen as black.
